Must agree with your comments that all disabled people are not wheelchair bound. My wife is in a similar situation and had a recent unpleasant experience in our home town of Grimsby. The first cab on tha rank was a mini bus type taxi with a very high step which she could not negotiate under any circumstances and she is sure any elderly or infirm person would have had similar problems.
